Almodóvar's much acclaimed story of an aging film director, Salvador Mallo, (Antonio Banderas) depressed and in pain, recalling the experiences of his life: his childhood in a village in Valencia in the sixties, his first desire, a painful, passionate affair in the Madrid of the 80s, his last days with his mother.
We follow his discovery of the worlds of cinema and music, and as he recovers his memories, Salvador finds a way to come to terms with his life choices.
Dir:Pedro Almodóvar. Cert 15. Subtitled. 113 mins
