FAQ: Which art materials are needed? There will be some exercises with B/W and some coloured. The type of colours is your choice, bring what you feel confident using. If you don't have experience, oil pastels, markers, coloured pencils are a good start. The sketchbook -or sketchpad or loose paper on a board- could be A5 (more portable) or A4 size to start. We might sketch by standing or sitting on the ground... take something to sit on, like a foldable stool/picnic chair or a blanket.

Can I bring my child along? Lucia works regularly with children, but this class has some technical language that might be a bit boring or difficult for small children.

What if it rains? Sketching under the rain has its own interestingness, Lucia sketches in all weather and each experience has its own learning and memories. Take weatherproof clothes if rain is forecasted. There are several sheltered areas in the gardens, including a temperate house from where we can sketch. The gardens also have cafe and toilets.
