Exquisite Pervert is a comedy cabaret inspired by the bullet ridden basements of Berlin and one woman's quest to reignite the power and purpose of love. Chartering the span of freedom and unstoppable adventures of a fifty year old woman chasing the perfect lighting; Exquisite Pervert is a comedy cabaret in- spired by the bullet ridden basements of Berlin and one woman's quest to reignite the power and purpose of love.

Pervert: (verb): to distort or corrupt the original course or state of something Exquisite: (adjective) extremely delicate, intensely felt Pervert: (noun) a person whose sexual behaviour is regarded as abnormal

Winner of Melbourne International Comedy Festival Awards, Sydney Comedy Festival Directors Prize and nominated for Edinburgh Fringe Total Theatre Award; Amelia Jane Hunter returns with a show about the joys of distorting, corrupting and compassion.

"On stage she is a force of nature: aggressive, confident, in your face and opinionated. She prowls the stage like a caged animal as she tells her tales of a world that restricts such a free spirit. It’s wonderful to witness her storytelling in person: describing the scene in deep detail and using poetic language so that all are rapt, only for her to floor us with a hysterical and biting comment as a punchline. It’s akin to snarky foot- notes scrawled in the margins of a classy novella" - Squirrel Comedy Australia

"What, after all, can a highly intelligent woman who hasn't got herself married off with children by her forties, say for herself? Well, a life of adventure in the dungeons of Berlin seems a very fine alternative for me" - NZ Theatre Review

"Deliciously cynical, lyrically explicit and very, very funny. She’s Samantha from Sex and the City with the vocabulary of Stephen Fry" - Chortle

"A stunning performer with presence and panache, a vulnerable, revelatory performance at its centre" - Time Out UK
