Fat Earthers return to live music at Strings Bar & Venue on Friday the 13th August. Spooky. “The band is a must-see live; turning calm and contemplative audiences to adrenaline-fuelled mosh pits within a blink of an eye.” - Louder Than War

“Volatile, Chaotic, and full of Energy” - BBC Introducing Solent

Since day one the band have starkly marched on DIY to the core, with the bands first two EP’s completely self funded, recorded and released even right down to hand stitching the bands merch themselves and lugging it around on the road in a beat up suitcase, This steadfast approach to their art earnt Fat Earthers recognition as one of the hardest working bands on the south coast supporting everyone from Warmdsucher, JOHN, Yak and Snapped Ankles along the way purely of the sweat of their own brows.

Speaking about the new single Phoney the band said:

“Luke Moves like a hurricane when it comes to songwriting, chords and ris lurch and lunge like a heaven sent deluge where as kyle is like the lynch pin harnessing the chaotic energy in the eye of the storm, the product being 2 - 3 minute punchy cruise missile like tracks that have their crosshairs fixed firmly on everything that is wrong with modern life from Right wing politics, Misogyny, Trolls, Karens and all that is Angst inducing in the 21st Century”

The 2 Piece comprised of Luke Curtis and Kyle Abrahams brought together by a mutual love of Skating and Surf Culture draw their influences from their experiences living in a small town on the Isle of Wight, creating a unique brand of Riotous Garage Rock in the blueprint of 60’s motor city acts and heroes The Stooges and Detroit Cobras, seeing the band sell out Headline shows both on and o the confines of The Isle of Wight
