This project provides an innovative way for local people to get involved in plans for Ryde’s High Street update. Organised by design practice Feria Urbanism, there will be a series of interactive workshops on Thursday Dec 9 and Friday Dec 10.

At this Friday morning session we shall be back out on the street and – if the weather is good – we shall take some of the foam blocks with us. This will allow us to recreate the ideas developed the night before but in the actual High Street spaces under consideration. This real time and space testing will provide the team with a great insight into the types of new designs and arrangements that will work best in the historic setting of Ryde High Street.
