Brian Williams LRPS local photographer is holding his second photographic exhibition at Ryde Library Gallery from 3rd January 2010 until 30th January 2010.
The title of the exhibition is “Never stand when you can sit”.
Here's what Brian has to say about the exhibition.
This title came about from a saying my grandfather used to use; as a child I would always be running around he would say as a joke.
“Stop; come and sit down you will ware your legs out keep running around like that, remember they have to last you a lifetime, never run when you can walk, never stand when you can sit down, and never sit when you can lie down”.
I have produced an exhibition of 40 images based on the above. All the images have been taken within the last few years apart from two images which are never seen before images that I took at the 2nd Isle of Wight Festival of Music 1969 when I was just a lad.
Since the 1960s, I have taken and processed photographs of many different types and subjects, trying hard to be versatile in my approach seeing each opportunity as a challenge to test my skills.
I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and a founder member of the local photography group “Wight Balance Photography Plus”
