Each year RIBA South administers regional RIBA Awards, Conservation Awards and Student Awards from both schools of architecture, Oxford Brookes University and The University of Portsmouth.

As one might imagine they are lucky enough to experience architecture at its very best and RIBA are enthusiastic about sharing these beautiful, sustainable spaces that provide us all with an environment that nurtures pride and a sense of wellbeing.

There is an annual scurry each year to promote these awards on national/ regional television/radio and to reach out to as many other means of communications to spread the passion for good architecture.

As part of RIBA South’s efforts to share these inspirational and exciting projects they launched an exhibition of the 2008 awards.

The travelling exhibition shares these projects at various venues around the RIBA South region showing in Schools of Architecture and within local authorities.

It has already been shown at the Courtyard Café, Winchester and at the West Berkshire Council Offices in Newbury.
