This years Open Exhibition DUET, leads on from artSOUTH‘s collaborative’ theme. Artists were invited to submit work made with another artist or non-visual artist.
DUET explores the collaborative process through physical interaction with different mediums and some more subtly, forming a conversation when positioned in the gallery.
Selected artists have used a wide range of mediums in which to present their work including print, photography, painting, mixed media, sculpture and paper, as well as audio and film-based works.
Prize: One artist and their collaborator will be awarded an exhibition in Quay Arts' Rope Store Gallery for Autumn/Winter 2014 with support from Quay Arts' Marketing, Curatorial and Installation team.
Selectors for this year’s Open Exhibition were Daniel Crow – a space arts Director, Katayoun Dowlatshahi – artist and Quay Arts Open 2010 Winner, and Georgia Newman – Visual Arts Project Manager, Quay Arts.
Mon - Sat 9.30am - 4pm, except Bank Holidays. Free entry to all galleries.
