The presents have been opened, the food has been eaten – now is the time to emerge outside and blow the cobwebs ( and hangovers?) away! This walk with Sue the Storyteller will go across the old street network of Old Newtown to Walters Copse, out to the East bird hide and return along the road to Newtown. This will be a fairly slow walk with time to ‘stand and stare’, listen to the curlews, smell the salty tang of seaweed and hear a local tale or two. Suitable for families and individuals, this walk will be over uneven ground, some of which is likely to be very muddy and waterlogged. Stout footwear or webbed feet suggested.
