Newport Rowing Club hosts clubs from around the Solent in the latest round of the Hants & Dorset 2022 Championship this coming weekend.

Coastal 4s racing on Saturday and Small Boats and Junior racing on Sunday. Races starting around 12 noon both days.

As well as competition from the mainland there will be a healthy rivalry between the three island clubs of Ryde, Shanklin & Sandown, and Newport.

Spectating is free, and can be accessed from the footpath along the west Bank of the Medina between Vestas and Newport.

BBQ, cakes and drinks are available from Newport Rowing Club, if you get peckish.
