Joe Beard is a songwriter and leader of the sixties group The Purple Gang and on Saturday 9th April he is joining The RUG Band for a special one off evening of music and memories. It is 51 years since The Purple Gang played a season at The Clarendon Hotel at Shanklin and Joe is returning to the Island to play some of his songs from that time. Tickets are on sale at the Lounge Cafe, Monkton Arts and the show begins at 7pm, so be quick to avoid disappointment.
