A day to slow down - an engaging, thoughtful and creative oasis in the week - to get out of your busy routine and experience something new - the starting point for a shift in perspective.
The retreat will be held in the tranquil setting at Godshill Park Farm. Nutritious juices and healthy bakes will start the day.. Through a series of workshops we will look at how stress affects body and mind and gain a better understanding about what is happening in your nervous system. We will delve into ways that we can hack into this system.
Through simple breathing techniques and mindful movement you will release tension, feel more at ease in your body and gain mental clarity.
We will eat a nutritious lunch together and talk about how foods (and what we drink) play a crucial role in the health of the nervous system. A healthy gut is the foundation to our physical, mental and emotional health. In an informal setting you will learn some steps towards better food choices which will support your mental wellbeing.
After lunch we will get outside and there will be a guided walk and talk in the beautiful surrounding area.
The retreat is designed to be fun and full of practical advise that you can implement into your everyday, so it becomes second nature and in turn leads to longer term stress reduction and management.
