Dimbola Museum and Galleries is delighted to welcome local photographer Tom Pratt to the Gallery at Julia's Tea Room.

Tom is a nature photographer, inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Isle of Wight. Tom can usually be found outdoors: running, hiking or cycling the Island roads. Consequently, many of his photos are taken on his phone, in the midst of mini adventures. He uses a variety of applications, phone and web-based, to edit photos on his return.

Whether it’s coastal, hilltop, forest, or marsh, Tom loves to immerse himself in all aspects of our natural environment and explore every corner of our Island. An ardent chaser of the first and last light of the day, much of his photography takes place in early morning or late evening. “Many of my photos are simple landscape shots; I love the interplay between land and sky.”

The collection comprises a wide variety of natural subjects: leaves, bugs, water droplets, and any aspect of nature that catches his eye.

Dimbola is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 4pm and will be closed 21-26 Dec inclusive.
