As part of Libraries Week, Cowes Library is celebrating 80 years as a library, so pop in for cakes and refreshments between 10.00am and 12.30pm. Meet Staff and Supporters and find out about our ongoing activities and events and services the library offers.

Age UK Isle of Wight will be offering help and information about their services and social activities and see how you can support the Guide Dog Charity who will be selling a variety of Guide Dog products, including Christmas cards.

Enjoy the chance to meet dogs and their owners. Island author, Felicity Fair Thompson will be reading from her new children’s book ‘Grandpa’s Dear Old Girl’ and showing the last lightbulb from the Needles Lighthouse before automation.

Children can also take part in a colouring activity.
