Open Studios is an Island wide event and is the highlight of most artists calendar. An opportunity to talk to visitors and share their passion about their art.

Sadly this year our organiser of many years has been forced to pull out at short notice due to ill health meaning that the usual format of advertising, brochure and posters has had to be abandoned.

It was thought that the event may be cancelled altogether but the majority of artists are keeping calm and carrying on, pulling together to make something happen without our normal printed material. Look out for posters, Information leaflets, red bunting and posts on social media.

Hopefully there will be a web link with more info soon.

The Carisbrooke Priory group are DEFINITELY going ahead. This year we have

Pauline Evans. Kiln formed glass. Decorative glass in many styles, this year with the addition of pieces using recycled glass

Chris Hicks. Original lino prints, sketches and cards. Hopefully Chris will be demonstrating his working methods

Marion Large. Vibrant paintings in various mediums. Also work using recycled elements.

Lis Toft. Porcelain jewellery, wheel thrown pots and sculpted porcelain with sumptuous glazes, crackled glass and precious metal lustre.

Carisbrooke Priory is a delightful place to visit with tea rooms and gardens
