Do you have what it takes to be a Gladiator?

Come and meet the LEG II AVG Gladiators this half term and take part in one of their Gladiator training sessions.

LEG II AVG is a roman living history group based in southern England. They travel throughout the UK and Europe to entertain and educate people of all ages in a fun, exciting way. Members of the group will be available throughout the day to answer questions and talk about life as a Gladiator in Ancient Rome.

23rd October 2021  10am - 3.30pm

Training sessions will run throughout the day. Numbers per session are limited and subject to availability, booking on arrival. Age 8 and over. £2 per ticket.

The Gladiator training will be an outside activity so please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on the day.

Cafe will be open 10am -3.30pm serving sandwiches, soup, cakes and cold & hot drinks.

You do not need to pay entry into the museum for the gladiator event. If you wish to visit the museum normal admission prices apply.
