Would you give your daughter to a bear?

What if he asked really nicely?

In Norway, a poor farmer is faced with just this question & so begins a rollicking, glorious tale in which a brave, intelligent young woman has to face fears & foes to rescue her true love from an evil curse.

Master storyteller Giles Abbott will have you mesmerised in this spell binding tale.

The story will feed your soul, and Caffe Isola will feed your body with a delicious meal of vegetarian polenta with garlic mushrooms and brie. Choose either English breakfast tea or an Americano coffee to complete your meal.

Cost £12 includes storytelling and meal. Limited numbers so book your places: telephone or text Sue Bailey on 07837 601 315

This event is part of National Storytelling Week and is being organised by The Island Storytellers. - a group of local people interested in oral storytelling for all ages.
