Mon 23rd/Weds 25th Sept 2019 7.30pm.

Zain is a young Lebanese boy who sues his parents for the "crime" of giving him life.

We follow his journey from gutsy, streetwise child to a hardened 12-year-old "adult", who flees his negligent parents and lives by his wits on the streets.

Here he meets Ethiopian migrant worker Rahil, who provides him with shelter and food, while Zein takes care of her baby son Yonas. When Zain is later jailed for committing a violent crime, he finally seeks justice in the courtroom.

Cert 15. 126 mins. Subtitled.
