‘A performer who is growing in stature with every performance’ – Andrew Carberry, Yellow Comedy
Following a scandal, James retires from stand-up comedy, only to be offered a surprise comeback gig in a secret London location. Accepting, he finds himself plunged into a bizarre, decadent gathering of the British political class. It’s the toughest gig of his career and one he may not escape from with with his life.
Left-field comic storytelling from Max Turner Prize finalist James Harris (‘assured stage presence’, TNT Comedy), ‘The Palace of Earthly Delights’ is perfect for those who like their political comedy satirical, outrageous and just plain bizarre. All political sensibilities will be mocked.
Born in Nottingham in 1982, James Harris has been performing comedy since 2001 and has performed in eight different European countries and three different languages to date. His screenplay ‘The Village in the Morning’ was produced in 2015. ‘The Palace of Earthly Delights’ is his first UK solo show.
25-26.07.2019 @19.00. Tickets £6, Fringe Friends 2-for-1
