Tea at the Opera - Sacro v Profano



Project:Opera presents an Advent concert like no other, with 2 hours of Opera and Oratorio to introduce our 2019 events' calendar.

The programme will include the quartets from Mozart's Requiem: Tuba mirum, Recordare and Benedictus; Salve Regina from Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Schubert's Ave Maria and Rejoice greatly, from Handel's Messiah, performed in the first half.

The second half of the concert will step away from the sacred, with songs by Rossini such as La Danza and arias from Salome', Faust and more.

£20, £15 concessions, include a high tea buffet by The Ryde Lions, in support of local charities.
