In a small Romani community in Calabria, Pio Amato is desperate to grow up fast.
At 14, he drinks, smokes and flits between the local Italians, the African refugees and his fellow Romani in his home town. Pio follows his older brother Cosimo, picking up skills for life on the streets.
When Cosimo disappears, Pio tries to step into his brother's shoes but soon faces an impossible decision that will show if he is truly ready to become a man.

Ventnor Film Society meets in Ventnor Arts Club, 13 High Street, Ventnor, which offers comfy chairs and HD projection.

Screenings mostly take place fortnightly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.30pm (look out for exceptions).
Entrance is £6, with under 25s enjoying a discount of £3, payable at the door and the bar is open from 6.30pm.
