Accessibility Forum is to be launched in Ventnor. A new group dedicated to improving access to services for people with physical or sensory impairments is being set up in Ventnor.

The first meeting of the Ventnor Accessibility Forum will take place at The Green Room, Salisbury Gardens at 1pm on Thursday 8th November and anyone who lives or works in Ventnor and is concerned with accessibility issues are welcome to attend.

There are many problems and issues faced by the less mobile every day and the Forum hopes to raise these issues with service providers, councils, leisure, transport operators and retailers. The group will give a voice to individuals with sensory impairments and physical disabilities who live or work in Ventnor.

The Forum is supported by Ventnor Town Council but will be independent and reflect the views of its members.
