Tues 2nd/Weds 3rd Oct 2018 7.30pm.
Zama, an officer of the Spanish Crown on the coast of Paraguay in the 1700s, waits for a letter from the King granting him a transfer to a better posting.
To safeguard his transfer he must accept every task entrusted to him by successive Governors.
When Zama realises the letter will never arrive, he joins a party of soldiers in a nightmarish search for a notorious bandit.
This sumptuously filmed conquistador adventure is laced with a surreal satire of colonialism.
