The Age Friendly Island Public Forums are for anyone interested in having their say and helping to find sustainable solutions to issues affecting island residents. The Public Forums offer a variety of meetings every quarter in a range of areas across the Isle of Wight. They are open to those over 50, friends, carers and interested parties ready to participate in making a difference to our island. They create a space where practical issues relating to the project are developed and Islanders have the opportunity to really shape important changes happening on the island such as health and social care, transport and outdoor spaces.
The theme for the next forums will be focussing on the NHS Acute (hospital based) services redesign and a chance to take part in reviewing the forums.

Thursday 30 Nov – Sandown Library – 10.00am – 12.00pm
Thursday 30 Nov – All Saints Church, Ryde – 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Tuesday 5 Dec – Riverside Centre, Newport – 10.30am – 12.30pm
Tuesday 5 Dec – Riverside Centre, Newport – 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Thursday 7 Dec – West Wight Sports Centre- 10.00am – 12.00pm
Thursday 7 Dec – Cowes Community Club – 2.00pm – 4.00pm
