Isle of Wight Electronic Indie 5 Piece Nakamarra, are set to release their Second Studio EP 'Glitter & Mess' on Friday 29th September on Chalk-Pit Records. After a major summer playing on festival bills including Isle of Wight Festival 2017 Main Stage, Bestival 2017 & Common People 2017. The band are ready to settle down for the autumn with a very special end of summer show at Newports newest Premier Music Venue 'Strings Bar & Venue'.

Joining Nakamarra on the night will be Southampton Electronic Duo UHURU who will be back on the Isle of Wight for a special performance to get you all seriesly vibing.

U H U R U (pronounced 'oo-hoo-roo’ ) meaning ‘Freedom’ in Swahili, comprises Connor Daniel and Robert Jones - an electronic duo generating smooth synth sounds, heavy bass lines and dramatic drops. Catchy vocal melodies & hook lines combined with guitar & synth, blend together to deliver a dance-set with real power and punch. The band have played a number of stand out shows on the island already this year at Isle of Wight Festival 2017, Rhythm Tree Festival 2017 already. So were excited to have them back.

Opening the evening is a rising 4 piece Indie Rock band from the Isle of Wight 'Coyote Jungle'. Aged between 16-18, the band released a debut single called 'Figure' back in July 2017 and are set to hit September with a bang.
