This relaxed & joyful workshop makes music from social interaction. The Venda of the North Transvaal gift one-note reed pipes to children at transition to adulthood, to teach that inclusion and cooperation build both citizenship and music. In this workshop, participants of all ages play tunes and riffs on ukuleles, based on the Venda’s ‘One person/one note’ philosophy. For all abilities, ages 7-70, No unaccompanied children. Ukes provided.
