Don’t miss Origins Theatre’s haunting stage adaptation of the last story Charles Dickens ever completed. This short (about 50 minutes) play explores what happens when a Victorian traveller finds a signalman working in a remote location. He’s intelligent and eloquent, but why is he so disturbed?
What is it about the dark tunnel entrance, and the red danger light, that seems to unnerve him?
Staged in the atmospheric Bonchurch Old Church, this performance has been widely praised by audiences across the South of England, and this is the first time it has been performed at the Fringe.
The venue would have been visited by Dickens himself during his stay in Bonchurch in 1849, where he worked on ‘David Copperfield’.
The capacity at the church is limited, so book early and join us for this special – and spooky – occasion …
