A funny, real, and touching play – featuring original music and image projection.
A moving portrayal of the lives of a group of women which reflects the attitudes and feelings of women today. Caroline, pregnant by one of her boyfriends, escapes to her Isle of Wight birthplace where she is visited by friends…
Origins Theatre is staging this play as a tribute to Anthony Minghella CBE, who was born in Ryde in 1954, and went on to become a film director, playwright and screenwriter, winning a string of awards, including an Academy Award for Best Director and a nomination for Best Screenplay for ‘The English Patient’.
We are proud to be presenting ‘Whale Music’, which is set on his beloved Island, in the theatre that bears his name.
