This is a discussion group about art history and theory led by artist Howard Hardiman, who has previously given talks for the National Gallery.

Each session will follow a style, movement or idea in art history or theory. After the first introductory session you will be asked to prepare a five minute talk for each meeting, forming the basis of group discussions on subjects from cave walls to comic books.

Sessions will be held just before our ‘Drink and Draw’ evenings in the Café, so you can follow theory with some practice!
