Shanklin Town and Old Village are playing host to a spectacular array of activities to get the whole family in the Festive Spirit. Santa Claus and his Elf Helper will be in their Wooden Chalet Style Grotto on the Town Square from 10am until 4pm. It’s just £2.50 per child to visit and receive a gift from Santa.

Regent Street will be home to a wealth of fun, games, entertainment and opportunities to buy gifts for the whole family. This year there will be two entertainment areas, the stage outside Boots and a performance area on the Falcon Cross Crossroads with singers, dancers, musicians, a magician and dog shows. Also look out for Circus Skills, a Bungee Trampoline, a Shooting Alley, Santa’s Sleigh and lots more.

As you walk along the High St between the Old Village and Regent St you will find that many of the local businesses have something extra going on, whether it be tasting sessions, competitions or indoor craft activities. In the Old Village, as well as the opportunity to buy unique, handcrafted Christmas gifts you will find fun, games and entertainment throughout the day. Look out for the blackboards dotted around to tell you what’s happening, when and where. As you stroll around Shanklin you may be lucky enough to hear a Christmas Carol from one of the roaming singing groups or maybe even see a Stormtrooper! A fun, traditional day out for the whole family.
