Bettany Hughes, well known Broadcaster and Historian, is giving a lecture entitled Helen of Troy - Goddess, Princess, Whore, at Ryde School by kind permission of the Headmaster, Mark Waldron and under the auspices of the Historical Association- Isle of Wight Branch.

This promises to be a racey Lecture as the title suggests and throws Helen of Troy in a different light. Entry is by tickets purchased (cash) beforehand which are free to students of History at any Island School and entrance otherwise is £10 and includes a glass of wine and refreshments.
