Much admired American singer Judy Collins will be performing a concert at Osborne House, East Cowes on 12th October.

The event is being arranged by Judy's record company Wildflower Records, with the assistance of Worcester-based singer/ songwriter Deborah Hodgson, who will also be appearing at the concert.

Deborah said "It is a real privelege to be Judy's special guest at Osborne. I met Judy at the IW Festival two years ago.

She sang 'Amazing Grace' and her crystal clear voice was mesmerising. Since then , I have been helping out some of the artists of Judy's record label with gigs in the UK, so now to be asked to help arrange a concert for Judy back on the magic isle is a special honour. Osborne House - the home of Queen Victoria - seemed the most fitting venue for the Queen of Folk."

Capacity at the concert will be limited to 200.
