Valerie Rue was born in London and spent many years in Aquitaine, France. She now lives permanently in the Isle of Wight.

Romantic by nature but classical by training, Valerie combines these two aspects in her work. Painting in a style reminiscent of the Impressionists, she finds inspiration in nature and scenes of daily life, while interpreting the refraction of light in a contemporary style.

The exhibition runs from 2 August 2016 to 14 August 2016.
