VISIONS & DIMENSIONS
by Andrew Dowden and Jeanne Mills-Holland

Quarr Abbey Art Gallery
Thursday, 24 to Tuesday, 29 May 2018
10am to 5pm - Free admission to exhibition, Abbey and grounds

Quarr Abbey will be hosting this annual exhibition, now in its eighth year, by Island artists Andrew Dowden and Jeanne Mills-Holland who met through their mutual interest and fascination in ceramics.

Andrew's handmade and hand-carved sculpture ceramics and wall panels, have emphasis on form and texture rather than function. His many inspirations include: architecture, machinery, archaeology, and tracks in the land made by man, machine and nature. Jeanne's porcelain is mainly decorative, with paintings in oils and watercolours inspired by the sea. Her love of the sea and sailing is depicted through her photography.

The artists will be in attendance at the exhibition and will be happy to discuss their work. A percentage of all exhibition sales goes to the Abbey.
