Blue hut

Friday 22 - Monday 25 July - various venues

This weekend it's the turn of 79 artists in central, north and east Wight, with group displays at Quarr Abbey Fishbourne, Gurnard Village Hall and Jubilee Stores Newport, as well as individual studios in homes, gardens and even a beach hut. The biggest cluster, a total of 30 artists, can be found in the Bembridge, St Helens and Nettlestone area.

Notable exhibitors include Rick Tomlinson, the internationally acclaimed marine photographer and former sailor, who will be opening his home in Gurnard to show a selection of Island scenes, yachting and wildlife images.

Lisa Traxler, well known for her abstract painting, collage and photography, Will welcome visitors to her house in Binstead, which was recently featured in Grand Designs

Regular well-known exhibitors include painters Kate Christie (Cowes) Jo Hummel-Newell (Ryde) Tony Westmore and Frank Jacobs (Gurnard); Becky Samuelson (St Helens), Charlotte Hodge Thomas and Peter Jones (Bembridge), Sally Woodford (ceramics, Bembridge)
