Island CoHousing are planning to create a cohousing neighbourhood of about 20 affordable, sustainable homes.

What sets this neighbourhood apart from other housing developments is that we are planning to 'build in' community. Alongside the individual homes, there will be some shared facilities such as a large common house with space to gather and eat together occasionally, and shared green spaces in which both children and adults can play and socialise. The project will be developed co-operatively by the future residents.
