The first major project undertaken by Wednesday Films is a 50 minute documentary on mental health and mental health services, which was filmed on the Isle of Wight between 2016 and 2018.

The film is called ‘Crisis or Awakening?’, and there will be five screenings of the film, in Ryde, Ventnor, Shanklin, Cowes, and Newport in July and August of 2018, where a booklet will be made freely available (thanks to WightAID) which contains all the information expressed in the film.

Some of the dates and venues have yet to be confirmed, but details will be posted on the Website as soon as they have been.

1st Screening – Ryde, Aspire, Thursday 12th July – 3.30pm

2nd Screening – Shanklin Conservative Club, 6pm, Wednesday 18th July 2018

3rd Screening – IOW Community Club, Cowes, 2pm, Thursday 26th July 2018

4th Screening – Ventnor, 6:30pm doors for 7pm screening at Ventnor Arts Club, Wednesday 1st August

5th Screening – Newport, 2pm at Riverside Centre, Wednesday 15th Aug

The film is 50 minutes long, but attendees are invited to stay for up to an hour after the film has finished, to meet people, discuss the ideas proposed, and exchange contact details.
