In a remote Icelandic valley live two shepherd brothers who have not spoken in 40 years.

When the sheep are infected by a lethal disease, the whole farming community is threatened and the brothers' grudge begins to thaw as they fight to save the unique breed from extinction.

By turns humorous and heartbreaking, the story of man, animals and land is set in a stunning, icy landscape. Cert R. Subtitled.
