Set during the war between Georgia and the Abkhazian separatists, two elderly Estonians decide to stay on the land to harvest their tangerine crops.

As the war draws ever nearer, Ivo finds himself having to accommodate two wounded soldiers who vow to kill each other as soon as they can stand, but as they recover, the ethnic divides begin to heal and humanity is rediscovered amidst the selfless kindness of their hosts.

Breathtaking rural landscapes are alive with colour, and the action-packed sequences are shot with dramatic effectiveness in this engaging and humorous pacifist tale.
