In this 2D feltmaking workshop using Ventnor Botanic Garden as inspiration you will be taught the basic techniques of felting.

Working with a wide selection of fibres and textures you will be instructed how to create pieces of felt fabric that can be stitched and embellished and developed as you wish into framed pictures, cushion covers, book covers or small bags.

There will be the opportunity to sketch and photograph the Garden in Winter and you will be shown how to interpret your ideas into felt.

Plenty of fibres and textures will be available for use and you should be able to produce one large or several small samples.

Open to all levels of experience. £40.00 per person plus £3.00 to cover materials and equipment.
