This course will run until Tuesday 23 June. There will be no sessions on 17th Feb (half term) or Easter 31st March, 7th April.

Gestures is a new dance class at the Isle of Wight College. It has secured funding from the Isle of Wight Council Adult and Community Learning and is aimed at all those people who did a bit of dancing when they were younger who’d really like to give it a go again.

The class consists of contemporary dance exercises that are aimed at improving your strength, flexibility and co-ordination and are a combination of floor and standing exercises. Participants will also get the chance to develop what they’ve learnt in small groups and have fun trying new things.

Whether you did ballet or tap when you were younger or Rock Challenge when you were at school, whatever your age, gender or experience this class should have something for anyone interested in dancing.

The class is at The Isle Of Wight College Dance Studio at 6.15 on a Tuesday evening during term time.

£4.50 (but £2.50 as an introductory offer until Easter).
