With the ever increasing interest in genealogy Freshwater and Totland Archive Group has organised a short course on how to start researching family history using the Internet.

Steve Palmer,an experienced researcher, will lead the afternoon session from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, and there will be access to computers throughout the session.

The cost per person is £3 and as spaces are limited it is important to book in advance. Bookings can be made at Freshwater Library or telephone 755453.

The course takes place in the old West Wight Youth Centre, now known as the Community Centre next to the Sports Centre in Freshwater.
