With just over four weeks to go, its worth recapping on what festival goers can expect for just £23!

Chantel McGregor is a very popular singer-songwriter and one of the most exciting guitarists in the UK!

At the age of eight Chantel became the youngest person in the country to pass a Rock school exam and at 12, she was jamming in her native Bradford and evolving into an incredible musician.

Described as a prodigy, at 14 Chantel was told by major labels "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!" Wisely ignoring that advice, she enrolled at the world-renowned Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18 distinctions. Chantel left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, for outstanding musicianship.

Winning four awards in the last three years in competition with highly regarded peers, is something that Chantel is extremely proud of and what a refreshing change and a justifiable first that a female artist was voted “Guitarist of the Year” in last years Awards. Chantel has also been nominated Guitarist of the Year in this years BBA Awards!

Chantel's debut album, Like No Other, was produced by Livingstone Brown, who has worked with such artists as Tina Turner, Bryan Ferry, Robin Trower, ABC and Bill Withers and the end result, is a beautifully crafted compilation, that showcases her versatility and genuine talent, as a singer-songwriter!

And if you measure an artist’s prospects by the company they keep, then this Miss is clearly heading in the right direction, having been invited to perform on stage by Joe Bonamassa, the American blues supremo, on two of his tours so far!

The remaining line-up is very classy comprises of:

· Doña Oxford – has brought her amazing keyboard playing and vocals to fans in Europe, Japan, Canada and the United States and very soon, to the Isle of Wight!

· Innes Sibun - began playing guitar at the age of 12 after hearing B.B King and has played to audiences all over the world, alongside some of the biggest names in the business!

· Albany Down – their big Zeppelin-influenced sound draws from the same British blues-rock well, that gave Zeppelin a head start all those years ago!

· Babajack - combine great musicianship, passion, energy and charismatic performance to create a unique sound and a great stage show!

· The Spellkasters - if you like your R & B noisy, fast and furious; then fasten your safety belts and look out for The Spellkasters!

With this calibre of artist stepping on stage, festival goers can expect to see top class live performances and hear a range of incredible sounds with sets that incorporate Blues, Rock, R & B, Folk, Soul and Roots Music...........and of course, some scintillating original material from Chantel McGregor!
