The Isle of Wight Shakespeare festival will host an array of events, including performance workshops, the Midsummer Market, a journey through the sonnets with Elizabethans in Love and a production of Twelfth Night by mainland company Oddbox, which is sure to delight audience members of all ages.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be playing on Wednesday, 27 August, at 7:30pm and on Thursday, 28 August, at 6:30pm.
On 28 August, it will be followed by the Grand Faerie Ball, which will commence at 8:30pm inside the gorgeous East Dene.
The IWSC’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be open-air, so audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, folding chairs and refreshments, and layers in case it’s chilly!
