Static Meet & Road Safety Event
6.30pm Saturday 29th September
The Isle of Wight Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Ambulance) will be in attendance and will be putting on a display of what happens when there is a car crash. This is defo worth watching as it really does make you think! They will also be bringing along a crash simulator which people can have a go in. It will shoot you forward and then stop dead to simulate the force inflicted upon you in crash.
There will also be a static display from The Supercharged Outlaws, The IoW Mud Runners 4X4 group, a static drift car display and also a display from Isle of Wight MAG, the Islands branch of the national Motorcycle Action Group, a group that campaigns for the rights of Motorcyclists at the highest political levels in UK and in Europe.

To be eligible for 'Car of the Weekend' you must attend both the Saturday night static meet and also the Sunday drive out.

'Cruise The Isle' Drive Out
10.00am - Sunday 30th September.
We will be taking a drive around the Isle of Wight. (Maps of the route will be available if anyone needs one lol)
We will be meeting at the following location at 10.00am and the first group of cars will leave in convoy at 1pm as this will then give people a chance to have a look round the cars:

In order to secure a reservation and allow sufficient time for tickets to be sent in the post bookings should be made well in advance. Please allow more time when outward travel is on a Friday as sailings are in more demand.
The special rate cannot be claimed retrospectively for bookings that have already been made and paid for.
Cancellation/Refunds/Amendments: No amendment fee. Fully refundable less £5.00 admin fee.

Anyone with a stupidly low car, we would recommend that you travel with Wightlink Ferries - Portsmouth to Fishbourne as this is the flattest route!

We can now confirm that people attending the weekend can camp on the show ground on the Saturday night! If you are planning on camping, please be aware that there will be NO vehicle movement on site once the evening event is over! If anyone is seen to be driving about they will be removed from the site!
