We are excited to announce that we will be hosting Michelle Hainsworth's Creative Writing for Wellbeing course starting in January.

There will be a FREE taster session taking place on 15th January at 4:30pm. You do not have to commit to the course prior to the taster session.

The course will then last for 10 weeks, running from 22nd January - 1st April (with a week break for the February half term).

All abilities are welcome!

Book now to avoid disappointment.

The focus of this 'writing for wellbeing' course is on the process of writing, not the creation of a work of art (though you may surprise yourself and produce some lovely work too). You don't need to be a writer or have ever written before, just be willing to give tasks a go.

We will take inspiration from painting, photographs, poems , extracts of literature, our lives and objects around us. Sometimes you will write on your own, sometimes you will have the opportunity to write in small groups. There will be silly games, and serious moments of reflection. And cups of tea and coffee on hand too!

The tutor, Michelle Hainsworth has 26 years of experience teaching in schools, colleges and community environments. Now, working as a freelance practitioner she delivers numerous dance, drama and creative writing projects on the island.
