Yarmouth Town Council wishes to hear your views
Questions we seek answers for:
• Why have the school Governors changed their mind from supporting ‘Keep Yarmouth School in Yarmouth’ to total opposition?
• Have they changed the minds of the 87% of stakeholders who supported the campaign to ‘Keep Yarmouth School in Yarmouth’?
• How did the Isle of Wight Council justify closing Yarmouth School and moving it to Freshwater when 71% who responded were against the move?
• Why does the Church want to close our school? Will the church be next?
• Why is the school already beginning to implement the decision before it is made by the Isle of Wight Council?
Yarmouth School is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ School and a School of Choice for many West Wight Parents.
It provides an unrivaled environment for learning with Castle, Harbour, Pier, River and Mill Copse in walking distance, and is well supported by the local community.
