Museum Insight: Flora and Fashion - Flowers at the Castle and Museum
Flowers unify this special afternoon, which will start with a presentation by English Heritage Historic Property Steward, Sue Wilson, introducing us to the wild flowers that can be seen at the Castle. Nick Minns and Kate Tiley of Carisbrooke Castle Museum will then help us discover how flowers are featured within the Museum collections, with a special focus on embroidery and costume.
Museum Insights are a programme of special talks, designed to give local people an opportunity to find out more about the museum and its collection.
Tickets (£8) include tea, coffee and biscuits.
Booking is essential - please ring 523112, e-mail email@example.com or book online (small fee applies).
All money raised helps support the work of Carisbrooke Castle Museum (Registered Charity No: 310002)
