Moonlight is a chronicle of childhood, adolescence, and burgeoning adulthood of a young African-American gay man growing up in a rough neighbourhood of Miami.

Directed by Barry Jenkins and released in 2016, Moonlight is category 15 and lasts 1h 51min. It features Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris, Trevante Rhodes, André Holland, Janelle Monáe, and has won three Oscars.

Ryde Academy has ample parking, including designated disabled bays, a short, flat walk from the Theatre. Car park entrance in Pell Lane. The Theatre has raked, padded seating; some patrons bring their own cushions for added comfort.
