The Freshwater and Totland Archive Group is organising a talk entitled 'The Isle of Wight in Sand Pictures' to be given by Rosemary Cooper from Carisbrooke Castle Museum. The talk will deal with the origins of sand art and the lives of some of the Victorian sand artists, as well as showing some examples of sand pictures of locations around the Island. It promises to be a fascinating and interesting evening.
Entry is £3 and refreshments will be available. Everyone is welcome! The Wesley Hall is in Brookside Road, Freshwater.
